the gostation @ cmj

Ladies and gentlemen the Go Station is one of those few bands that I enjoy MORE live than I do on CD. Now I know nothing beats a live show - but in terms of sound quality, vocal quality and balance I usually prefer a well mixed album. However, not only do these guys bring all the quality of their album with them when they step out - they also have an incredible stage presence. Each member of the group brings a certain element of that rock star vibe. Doug has a charisma and genuine vibe that every girl loves, Matt is the wild child who always gives the camera people exactly what they’re looking for, Erik almost reminds me of someone out of Clockwork Orange he’s just got that quintessential bad ass look about him, Nick and Vin seem a little more soft spoken among their band mates but when you seem them on stage they just come alive. The Go Station often gets compared to U2 or Oasis and I have to say that I agree. They are great live, they are great on CD and they are a group of great guys to hang out with. I would be surprised if we don’t see The Go Station rising to the top of the indie music scene in the years to come.
