Interview w/ Amanda Kaltesky

Friday, September 28th, 2007

This girl is the real deal ladies and gents. Not only is she cool as hell, but she’s super talented (she plays piano and guitar and has a voice that will blow you away). Check out here song Never Enough and I guarantee you you’ll be rockin out (or mellowing out) to this little coffee house diva in no time!

Finals week is coming!

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Please note that no one was hurt in the making of this video. ;0)

Also note: I am not naturally cross-eyed that was my superior acting skills shining through … confusion … fear … a little more confusion … maybe even a hint of anger … all pulled together and displayed for you in the form of one, seemingly crossed, eye! … you’re welcome. - AJH

Vonny Von Von Robinson is most certainly in his own universe! Super cool guy, super cool songs and a super cool outfit. If you get a chance to see these guys live TAKE IT. Because not only are the songs really interesting and fun but Von’s wingmen (on guitar and bass) couldn’t be more hilarious. It was part comedy act, part musical performance and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Broadcast Live @ The OurStage Winners Circle Showcase

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Broadcast Live took the stage at the Paradise and pulled together a powerful, cohesive and well blended sound. Their message is heavily political and, at times, jarring. Even if you don’t ascribe to the same set of political beliefs, you have to respect them for the way they are speaking out. There is nothing more beautiful when you can tell a musician is speaking from their own heart and TRULY believes in what they are singing about. You couldn’t get a more genuine vibe from a band if you tried. Every member of the group was open, kind and cool as hell … and it shines through in their music. I looove their song 50 million … just type in Broadcast Live on the OurStage search bar and check it out.
