After making it into the top ten on the Indie/Alternative Channel in March 2007 with their songs “Dry On Ice” and “Monster.” OurStage invited The Shapes to play The Verge Conference in April at Bill’s Bar in Boston. This NYC band won over the Boston crowd with a killer performance of upbeat rock and garage pop. Last month, they returned to OurStage and nabbed the #1 spot on the Hard Rock Channel with their song “Dreaming of an M16.” Let’s take a look at what The Shapes are all about in my Q & A below with one of their lead vocalists, Mark.
