I am!  Because I got to meet & chat with Chali 2na from one of my favorite hip hop groups, Jurassic 5. He’s tall, he’s smooth and he’s got that voice that just resonates … man, what a cool cat!

I asked Chali what it was felt like to represent the Hip Hop community at a festival like Bonnaroo - especially in an age where Hip Hop is getting a bad reputation with all the negative press and attention surrounding gangster rap and the violence and sexuality it promotes. He simply responded that he couldn’t knock anyone else in the industry for pursuing their dream and that he was just happy to be able to do what he’s doing. A class act right there.

Not only that but he was one of the few artists that stuck around the press tent after the conference and talked to fans and smaller media people like me, so he gets some made love for that as well.
